体系 (tǐ xì) is a system as an organized whole of interconnected parts, often abstract or conceptual (e.g., knowledge system). Unlike 系统 (concrete systems like computer system; also adjective), 体系 is always a noun and emphasizes internal coherence. It is broader than 制度 (institutions/rules) and 体制 (organizational framework), covering both structures and relationships.
