低温 (dī wēn) means 'low temperature', used for cold environments or settings. It is the opposite of 高温 (gāo wēn) and refers to a temperature lower than 常温 (cháng wēn, room temperature). Unlike the general term 温度 (wēn dù), 低温 specifies that the temperature is low.
