Definition
传情 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning to convey romantic emotions or to flirt. When adding aspect markers or measure words, the two characters split: 传了情 (chuán le qíng, 'conveyed/flirted'), 传过情 (chuán guò qíng, 'have flirted'). The object 情 can also be modified, e.g., 传什么情? ('What flirtation?').
