Definition
休会 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to adjourn a meeting' or 'to go into recess'. The two characters can split when you insert a duration (休了两天会 'adjourned for two days') or a frequency (休过一次会 'went into recess once'). You cannot put an object after 休会 — the object is already contained in 会. Common in formal or workplace contexts.
