Definition
以下 (yǐxià) means 'below or under a certain amount/level' (e.g., 十度以下 'below ten degrees') and also 'the following' in a text. Unlike 下面 (xiàmiàn), which is more common for spatial 'below' or listing the next item in order, 以下 is standard with numbers, quotas, and formal thresholds. 下 (xià) as a noun is broader and less specific; 底下 (dǐxia) is more colloquial for physical 'underneath'.
