Definition
令郎 is a polite, honorific term used to refer to another person's son when speaking directly to that person. The 令 prefix is a respectful marker used in formal address (also seen in 令爱 'your daughter', 令堂 'your mother'). You would not use 令郎 to refer to your own son or in casual conversation—use 儿子 instead.
