Definition
仓促 (cāng cù) means 'hasty, hurried' and emphasizes that something is done with insufficient time or preparation, often leading to negative results. It is similar to 匆忙/匆匆 (cōng máng/cōng cōng) but carries a stronger sense of inadequate preparation. Unlike 突然 (tū rán) which means 'sudden' in time, 仓促 focuses on the rushed manner of an action.
