Definition
亲情 (qīn qíng) refers specifically to the emotional bond and affection between family members — the love shared by parents, children, siblings, etc. It differs from 感情 (gǎn qíng), which is a broader term for any emotion or feeling, and from 爱情 (ài qíng), which is romantic love between partners. Unlike the verb 爱 (ài), 亲情 is a noun that names the family tie itself.
