产值 (chǎn zhí) refers to output value expressed in monetary terms (e.g., dollars or yuan). In contrast, 产量 (chǎn liàng) refers to production volume measured in physical units (e.g., tons or units). Use 产值 when you need to talk about the financial worth of output; use 产量 for the sheer quantity produced.
