Definition
交织 (jiāo zhī) means 'to interweave' and is used for abstract things like emotions, sounds, or ideas blending together. Unlike 织 (zhī) or 编织 (biān zhī), which refer to physically weaving cloth or knitting, 交织 describes a figurative intertwining. It also differs from 夹杂 (jiā zá), which means things are mixed in but not necessarily interwoven in a structured way.
