交界 (jiāo jiè) means 'to share a border' and is used exclusively for geographical boundaries between countries, provinces, or regions. 交叉 (jiāo chā), its sibling, is broader: it describes lines, roads, or subjects that intersect or overlap, but not territorial borders.
