Definition
乱套 is a colloquial separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to get into a mess' or 'things go haywire'. It describes a situation where order breaks down completely — plans fall apart, rules are ignored, or chaos erupts. You can split it as 乱了套 to insert 了 or other elements (e.g. 乱不了套 'won't fall into chaos'). It's informal and often used in spoken Chinese.
