Definition
乒 (pīng) is an onomatopoeia that imitates the sharp crack of a gunshot, a breaking object, or a sudden impact. It's often used in comic books or descriptive writing to convey a loud, short explosive sound. Unlike the similar 乓 (pāng, a heavier bang), 乒 suggests a higher-pitched, lighter crack.
