Definition
This chengyu comes from the story of Liu Shan, the last emperor of Shu Han, who was captured by Wei and later said he was so happy in his new life that he didn't miss Shu at all. You use it to describe someone who is having so much fun in a new place or situation that they forget about their home, duties, or responsibilities. It often carries a slightly critical or teasing tone.
