Definition
主观 (zhǔguān) means 'subjective' — based on personal feelings or opinions rather than facts. It is the direct opposite of 客观 (kèguān, 'objective, impartial'), which relies on observable evidence. Use 主观 when describing a view that is influenced by personal bias, and 客观 when referring to a neutral, fact-based perspective.
