Definition
主权 (zhǔquán) is the modern political/legal term for a state's supreme authority over its territory and internal affairs. It is distinct from 权力 (quánlì), which refers to power or authority in a general sense (personal, organizational, or political). 天下 (tiānxià) is a classical/historical term for 'all under heaven' or imperial rule, not used for modern state sovereignty.
