Definition
串门 (chuàn mén) means to casually drop by someone's home, often unannounced, for a chat — it's the most informal and neighborly way to visit. Unlike 访问 (formal/official) or 看望/探望 (visiting with care, often for someone ill), 串门 is purely social and spontaneous. It can be split, e.g., 串了个门.
