Definition
东京湾 ('East Capital Bay') is the Chinese name for both Tokyo Bay in Japan and, historically, the Gulf of Tonkin (now usually called 北部湾). Modern usage generally refers to Tokyo Bay, but in historical or older texts it may refer to the Gulf of Tonkin near Vietnam.
