不规则 (bù guī zé) is a stative verb meaning 'to be irregular' or 'to not conform to a standard pattern'. It can describe shapes, surfaces, grammar (irregular verbs), or movements/actions that are wrong or flawed. The two English glosses 'irregular' and 'incorrect' overlap in Chinese — anything that deviates from a rule or norm can be called 不规则.
