Definition
不失为 is a fixed expression used to say that something or someone can still be considered, accepted, or deserves to be called (something positive), often with a tone of affirmation or concession. It usually appears before a noun or noun phrase, e.g. 不失为一种方法 (can still be regarded as a method). It adds a literary or formal flavor.
