一霎那 means 'in an instant' or 'a split second' — a poetic, slightly literary time expression for something that happens extremely briefly. It is often interchangeable with 一瞬间 or 一刹那, though 一霎那 is the least common of the three. You use it adverbially before a verb phrase, often followed by 之间 (一霎那之间) for extra emphasis on suddenness.
